Guardian of Brezen

Guardian of brezen was a prototype for a much larger game proposed for my thesis project. The basic principal was to try and make a real-time tactics game that took advantage of the touch screen of mobile devices, and had enough depth of strategy that players could spend hours training to discover new abilities and formulate new strategies.

The controls are fairly simple and intuitive:

Tap a unit to select it and bring up it's ability menu, and then tap one of the action bubbles to select that action, and tap where to use it.

Or, swipe starting on a unit to tell it to move.

This game was made by a team of 4 in 8 weeks, using Corona.

Programming and Design

When it comes to game design, there are two things I love more than anything else. I love designing game worlds, and I love designing intricate systems within the game. This goes hand in hand with my love of programming.
